Pressure was taken off Frank Lampard’s shoulders, after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday.
Although the hosts went down to 10 men in the first half, Chelsea still struggled to impose their game and break down Scott Parker’s men.
Fulham seems to find another gear, even with Antonee Robinson’s dismissal.
However, Mason Mount grabbed the winner in the second half for Lampard’s men, firing in from inside the box.
The win has lifted his team back to seventh and the fringes of the Champions League places.
After four losses in their previous six games, Lampard can now breathe a little ahead of next week’s game against Leicester City.
