EPL: Man City drop crucial points in 1-1 draw with Chelsea

Manchester City failed to keep pace with Premier League title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal, following a 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Saturday.

The Reds had won 4-1 at Brentford in the early kick-off, while the Gunners thrashed Burnley 5-0 at Turf Moor.

With City playing catch-up, they dropped important points against the Blues at the Etihad.

Raheem Sterling’s breakaway goal against his former club had given Mauricio Pochettino’s men a deserved lead at the interval.

Chelsea had chances to extend their advantage. Erling Haaland spurned a series of opportunities to equalise as City pushed.

It was left to Rodri to smash in a late equalizer.

City are now third, four points behind the Premier League leaders Liverpool.
