Nigerian filmmaker and the ex-husband of Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle, Patrick Doyle has sparked outrage with his latest statement.
The filmmaker, who got remarried last year, via his Facebook page, stated that people are too obstinate to admit their folly. He noted how the slogan, ‘What God cannot do doesn’t exist’ has been proven to be silly, yet they continue to chant it.
“Some people are just too obstinate to admit their folly. Even after that slogan ‘What God cannot do doesn’t exist’ has been proven to be silly, they still continue to chant it”.
His statement has sparked backlash as many took to the comment section to drag him.

Similarly, media personality, Daddy Freeze stirred backlash after he revealed the several reasons why he couldn’t serve God, who he referred to as ‘god’.
According to him, he can’t serve a God who couldn’t resurrect Mohbad, who watches tithe paying children in hunger and penury, and who couldn’t stop the rigging of the election.
Big Brother Naija Bambam, who wasn’t pleased with his statement lectured him him with biblical references.
In a different news, Patrick Doyle had reacted to Davido’s logistics manager, Isreal DMW’s marital drama.
Speaking out, the veteran actor, via his Facebook page stated that it takes a special species of low-life man to engage in a social media saga with his former partner. According to him, only a low-life man engages in social media drama with a woman he has been intimate with.
