For former Big Brother Naija housemate, Lucy Essien has clocked 33 today and is grateful for her new age.

Lucy Essien, has taken to her Instagram page to celebrate her 33rd birthday with a short and sweet message.

She wrote: This is 33! Sugar, spice, fire!

Lucy’s message is short but packed with meaning as she celebrates another year of life. The former BBNaija housemate is known for her bold and fiery personality, which she aptly describes as “fire” in her post. She also acknowledges her sweetness, which balances out her fiery nature and makes her the unique person that she is.

As Lucy celebrates this milestone, her fans and well-wishers have taken to social media to wish her a happy birthday and to express their admiration for her.

At 32 maybe marriage is not for me, I’ll just have a child – BBNaija’s Lucy Edet

Lucy Edet she is at the verge of giving up on marriage and might eventually become a baby mama.

The 32 year old Reality Star also added that her mother has given up on her getting married because she has been very stubborn about it.

“I am turning 32 in April. I have been very stubborn about it (marriage) and my mother has come to accept that marriage may not be for me. Perhaps, I will just have a child. She (mother) told me two days ago that I should just produce a child and I laughed.”

“Pressure for marriage isn’t for me because I am more concerned about connecting and living happily with the right person. Until I am able to build my life around that person, I don’t think I want to settle down.”

“If I feel pressured to get married, I could have done that since I used to be cr@zy about marriage, but not anymore,” she told Saturday Beats.
