Former Super Eagles striker and manager Samson Siasia says he is yet to receive any call from the said gunmen who captured his mom, Beauty, a few days ago.
Beauty Siasia was whisked away through the waterways to an unknown destination by equipped men around 2:00 am from her home in the riverine Odoni, Sagbama Local Government Area of the state in the early hours of Monday.
It is the second time the septuagenarian has been captured over the most recent four years, having endured a similar destiny in November 2015 and was discharged 12 days after the fact.
“I’m heart-broken as I speak now,” Siasia told The PUNCH.
“We are waiting for the kidnappers to make contact to tell us their demands so my mother can be released.
“I just don’t know why this keeps happening but I just hope that she returns safe and in good health. That is the most important thing to me and my family right now.”
Siasia’s more youthful sibling Dennis included that their mom was taken away without her Blood Pressure medications and cell phone.
He noticed that the powerlessness of their mom to recall telephone numbers may have hindered contacts from her abductors since she was removed without her telephone.
“Yes, the abductors have not contacted the family,” Dennis said.
“We have reported to the Police. She was taken away without taking along her drugs. Even if they ask her for our numbers, she would not be able to help because she cannot recall mobile numbers. We are full of prayers and hoping she would be released soon.”
The exercises of suspected criminals between the Agbere and Odoni zone of Sagbama have been troubling with the kidnapping of the dad of specialist and proprietor of Stop Ova, a well known hang out in the state capital.
Indigenes of the network, who talked with our reporter, said beside Siasia’s mom, two other ladies were likewise kidnapped, including the mother of the proprietor of a nearby local mortuary firm in the region known as “Do NaNa.”
Affirming the occurrence, the Bayelsa State Police Command representative, Asinim Butswat, said the State Commissioner of Police and the direction’s Tactical Team have visited the location of the wrongdoing.
Butswat said, “The command in collaboration with other security stakeholders have launched manhunt to apprehend the killers and rescue the victim. Investigation is ongoing.”
