Kicking against using political appointment as an avenue ri steal public funds, Stella Erhuvwuoghene Okotete shared on Facebook:
“10yrs After, I am still Standing Strong & Tall, on this Day 2009, I was Suspended by my Fellow Councillors for Refusing to take Bribe tagged “ Political Gift” from School Principals in my LGA, Who were involved in illegal extortion of Fees from Public School Students,
I was called back after Three Weeks, But I was Surprised People blamed me for speaking Out, Except Arch Terry Noah, I spent my Suspension touring Government Schools in my Ward and Ensuring those illegal fees were Returned, It was A political Baptism for me, Two years Later I was appointed SA to the Gov on MDGs, Today I am An ED,NEXIM Bank, All to the praise and Glory of God Almighty,
I have no regrets Giving back to the society and Doing what is right because A political Appointment or Representation is a call to service, Not an opportunity to steal what belongs to the People …… #AllegictoCorruption Thanks Facebook for Driving me through Memory Lane“
