Nigerian International, Alex Iwobi has denied a report which says he will leave Arsenal if the club sign Wilfred Zaha.
The 23-year old was quoted as making the statement as Arsenal pursue the signing of Zaha who plays for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.
Debunking the report that he’s threatened by the prospect of Zaha joining Arsenal, Alex Iwobi tweeted that it is his dream for the club to sign world class players:
“Fake News & Click Bait! I Don’t know Why Some Newspapers Enjoy Twisting Words. I Hope We Sign World Class Players @Arsenal And Progress As A Team . I’m Looking Forward To The New Season. Happy Sunday”.
Alex Iwobi has part of the Super Eagles squad which came third at the just concluded 2019 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
