The month of Ramadan is just like a bonus and promo months to all mankinds as all the rewards for the good deeds done would be in multiple folds.
Ramadan servers as emphasis on what Allah has already decreed on all mankind to do good , in Quran 2:177, Allah (SWT) Say
” It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing.”
There are however various ways by which one can earn rewards in this holly month.
Charity: Giving of charity to the poor and the needy either in cash or kind is a vital way of earning multiple rewards. Normally an act of kindness done attracts 10 rewards but that done in the month of Ramadan attracts 30 rewards. In Quran 57:11 Allah says “Who is he that will Loan to Allah a beautiful loan? for (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal Reward.”
Reading and reflecting on the meaning of the holy Qur’an: Time is never wasted when spent reading the Qur’an for the Prophet of Allah says :Aishah (RA) related that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Indeed the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly and precisely, will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. As for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward.”
Observing the obligatory and voluntary prayers: performing the compulsory daily solawat and voluntary prayers such as shuruku(after sun rise) Duha (noon prayer) , nawafil before and after each prayer and waking up in the middle of the night to pray. Quran 73 vs 2
“Stand (to prayer) by night, but not all night.
Making judicious use of your time: Time is very precious to us and we are accountable for how we spent our time, we are strongly advised to make sure our time is productively spent. Ignore gossiping, abusing, fighting in this month, even if all you do is spend your time trading lawfully there is a reward for you.
Follow the sunnah of the prophet: The sunnah is the way of life for every Muslim. Following the principles and way of life of the prophet is another best way to earn reward in the month of Ramadan. Not doing things that are forbidden and engaging in things acceptable would earn one greater reward.
Doing all these good deeds is solely for our own favour as Allah (SWT) doesn’t need any favour from us all.
