President Buhari has said that he will not disclose the names of those who will be part of his cabinet when he gets sworn in for his second term in office beginning from May 29th.
President Buhari made this known upon his arrival from London where he had spent 10days on a private visit.
In response to a reporter who asked if he went to London to compile the list of those that will make his 2nd term in office cabinet, the President said:
“I didn’t discuss it with anybody so I don’t know how they knew about it. I didn’t discuss it with anybody. ”.
Regarding the caliber of persons to be seen in his new cabinet, Buhari replied
”I won’t tell you”.
He, however, expressed readiness to settle down and swear in the new cabinet.
Concerning what his government is doing to address the security challenges across the nation, the President said:
“I have just seen the IG, I think he’s losing weight, so I think he is working very hard”.
