IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has once again called on Igbos to boycott the general elections this February.
According to Nnamdi Kanu who is reported to be in London, casting a vote in the elections is the same as remaining in perpetual slavery.
He thereby called on all Biafrans to exercise a sit-at-home order on the election days as to push towards regaining freedom.
He wrote:
“We in #IPOB recognise that freedom fighting is about philosophical purity and ideological consistency not pandering to political short-termism.
“Those that wish to renew their slave status in #Nigeria are free to vote.
“On February 16, 2019, #SitAtHome in Biafraland.”
