Days after the death of famous fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld, thought is being given to his cat.
However, we need not worry as reports have revealed that Lagerfeld had this same thought before his passing and had set up the cat with a generous slice of his fortune.
The fashion designer’s pampered cat, Choupette, a Birman Lagerfeld reportedly adopted from French model, Baptist’s Giabiconi, after a cat-sitting session, has lived a pampered life and Lagerfeld intended for things to stay that way.
Chopette reportedly enjoyed luxurious grooming regimes and was fed from expensive China ware.
Now Vogue reports that Chopette is set to receive an inheritance reportedly worth over $380 million.
When asked by the editor in Chief at Nimero Homme, Philo Utz, about rumors of Chopette receiving an inheritance from Lagerfeld’s fortune, this is what he had to say.
Without confirming how much he had set aside for the cats care, he said, “Among others, yes.”
“Don’t worry, there is enough for everyone.”
It might seem that there is more than enough to go round.
As earlier reported, Lagerfeld passed away at a hospital in Paris following a brief illness.
