In the wake of the postponement of the 2019 elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nigerians on Twitter are expressing their frustration by declaring their interests in relocating to Canada.
Over time, skilled Nigerians have travelled in droves to Canada in search of ‘greener pasture’ and the country has remained an option for others who have such intentions.
Following the announcement made by INEC today, Twitter users are revisiting the idea and Canada’s embassy in Nigeria has expressed its fascination at what it describes a “sudden interest” in the North American country.

I have left Nigeria for Canada and I have no intention of coming back. If you see me on the street, it means you’re in Canada too.
