Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari has declared total support for her husband’s warning against ballot box snatching.
The president gave the warning during an All Progressives Congress emergency caucus meeting on Monday.
The meeting was held over the last minute postponement of Nigeria’s general election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The National Chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu, based the postponement which was done barely six hours to its commencement on logistic problems.
The postponement now sees the Presidential and National Assembly elections holding on Saturday, 23 February while the Governorship and state assembly elections are to hold on Saturday, March 9.
Reacting to her Buhari’s warning to those planning to snatch ballot box, Aisha took to Twitter with a video of the president making the statement and captioned it:
“ #ThisIsGMB taking Nigeria to the #NextLevel.”
