Las Vegas police issue warrant for Ronaldo DNA over rape allegation

Las Vegas police has issued a warrant for the DNA of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese footballer was last year accused by a Kathryn Mayorca who said he raped her in Las Vegas in 2009.

The police need the Juventus player’s DNA to see if it matches that found on the dress Kathryn Mayorca wore that night.

Since the allegations last year, Ronaldo has maintained his innocence and that what he had with the lady was consentual.

Wall Street Journal claims authorities have sent a warrant to the Italian courts in the hopes of being allowed to carry out the procedure.
