Prof Mahmod Yakubu, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commissioner, has spoken about the possibility of the 2019 general elections being postponed.
Professor Yakubu revealed that there is no possibility of the 2019 general elections being postponed.
The presidential and National Assembly elections are billed to hold on February 16th while the governorship/state assembly/Federal Capital Territory Area council elections will hold on Saturday, March 2nd.
Yakubu said this in a recent interview with Osasu Show.
“I cannot see any possibility of a postponement. We started this a long time ago. We have gone ahead with preparations. INEC is not even contemplating the possibility of a postponement” he said
