A 62-year-old handicap woman, Deborah Lynch, has reportedly been st3bbed a 116 times by a Nigerian man in the US.
According to the reports, the older woman was found partially disemboweled in her apartment near 5th Avenue and Clark Avenue in South Milwaukee.
The suspect identified as Kehinde Afolayan, 31-year-old is faced with one count of first-degree intentional homicide.
The charging document revealed that the suspect had been seen by a witness who was alerted to the commotion going on in the apartment by his sister.
The witness reportedly saw the suspect stab the victim while she was in her wheelchair, through a window in the apartment.
Officers at the scene reported finding Lynch sitting in her chair motionless and unresponsive even though she was breathing.
Unfortunately, Lynch was confirmed dead before the Flight for Life helicopter arrived at the scene.
Afolayan was arrested by the officers after being found holding a bloodied shirt.
Investigators also say that they found three bloodied knives within and near the building, with one of the blades missing.
The police have said that they were unable to interview the suspect as he had been unresponsive at the time of his arrest.
He was, however, said to have been muttering statements such as, “Jesus forgives me.”
Ina strange twist, the son of the deceased told the police officers that Afolayan had been living with them since October 2018.
According to the medical examiner, Lynch had been stabbed about 116 times, most of them to the chest and abdomen.
If convicted of first-degree murder, Afolayan faces life in prison.
