The ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) is one of many seen over the years but has thankfully, become a blessing for some.
Now Mrs Oluwaseun Olukoya, CEO of emerging children’s fashion brand, Wonder Child for Kids, has revealed how she found passion in the fashion industry during an extensive ASUU strike.
According to her post on Instagram, this happened during her 200 level, while studying Radio and Television Broadcasting at the Lagos State University.
She said that she made the decision to learn tailoring seeing how long the strike was lasting, and now, 9 years later, she is celebrating 16,000 followers on her brand’s official Instagram page.
Who says nothing beautiful can be born in misery?
Big kudos to her!
