One Akeem Azeez has been arrested alongside an accomplice, Omisekin Sunday, during an attempt to rob the occupants of a house.
Despite his arrest, Akeem seemed more concerned about the fact that he had been unable to complete his operation before his arrest.
According to the reports, the suspects were arraigned before a magistrate court on three counts of felony, unlawful entry and forceful removal of burglar-proof bars.
The pair of miscreants are reported to have served jail terms for crimes which remain undisclosed.
During the court hearing, Police prosecutor, Rasak Olayiwola, told the court that both men planned to burgle the house of one Alhaji Rasaq Okunade, of No. 23 Ayegun Street, Iludun, Osogbo at 11:30 am.
However, they were caught before they could complete their plan.
In his ruling, presiding magistrate,
Olusegun Ayilara, ordered the suspects remanded in police custody before adjourning the case until February 13, 2019, for the presentation of facts.
According to the reports, shortly after Ayilara gave his ruling, Azeez is said to have expressed his regret over being caught before the completion of the burglary.
He also stated that he was aware of the fact that he would be punished for his crime even though he had been unable to finish it.
