Manchester United player, Marouane Felllaini has cut his trademark curly hair to a low-cut ahead of his 31st birthday.
The Belgian international shared a snap on Instagram of himself with a short crop.
He wrote: “New year, new look. #birthdaytomorrow.”
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, who plays together with him for Belgium, wrote: “It’s photographed, it can’t be true.”
United team-mate Eric Bailly added: “Nooooooooooo.”
Fellow Old Trafford team-mate Romelu Lukaku added: “You did it.”
And his ex-Everton team-mate, Victor Anichebe, joked: “Bro you could’ve at least got a proper shape up.
After the side lost 3-1 to City on Sunday, boss Jose Mourinho said: “One of the things that broke a little bit, or a lot, our plan is that Fellaini had to start the game.
“Fellaini is not in a condition to play 90 minutes, he was phenomenal to do it but he is not in the condition to do it.
“Normally I bring Fellaini to this game in the latest part of the game.
“Imagine Fellaini fresh coming after the 2-1 with 25 minutes to go, that’s an important thing for us.”
