Former Liverpool star, Steve McMahon has named Marouane Fellaini as the ‘best substitute in world football’.
According to McMahon, the Manchester United player is so important for Jose Mourinho’s side because the Belgium international changes game for United at any point in time.
The Belgian international has made thirteen appearances for United in all competitions this campaign, scoring one goal.
“He’s the best substitute in world football.
“He’s the best plan B I’ve ever seen in world football, both for country and for club.
“You can play him anywhere, anytime, bring him on whether you’re winning, bring him on whether you’re losing.
“He affects the game because he can change games when things are stale and he needs a goal.
“When he wants to tighten up, he will bring him on.”
After the international break in the Premier League fixture, Man United will take on Crystal Palace on November 24.
