As the primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) reaches its conclusion, APC National leader, Asiwaju Tinubu has spoken about the primaries.
According to him, whatever that happened in the primaries today was even beyond him and as a result he had to submit himself to the will of the party members.
The party is set to pick their governorship candidate for next year’s Lagos state gubernatorial elections with incumbent Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and governorship aspirant, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the race.
He wrote on twitter…
I consider it as an insult, the insinuation that there is a rancour between me and @AkinwunmiAmbode. I have no problem with him (@AkinwunmiAmbode). Whatever happens is a party decision and I have to respect that because I am a party man.
