Nigerian singer, Kcee, has received severe backlash from his fans for flaunting wads and millions of cash on his Instagram page.
Kcee had shared the said photo with caption;
“They don’t know…. #kceepscho”
This did not sit well with his numerous followers as the photo and caption was a response to an online shade by former act and manager, Harrysong and Soso Sobrekon.
Soso Soberekon who shared a new photo of himself on a Private Jet, wrote;
‘Your star can be five but greed can turn it to one.’
Reacting to the post, Harrysong also wrote;
Greed, pride & lies killed the star
Many expected him to ignore the duo who shaded his record label, Five Star Music but were stunned to see the petty response
They accused the singer of trying to impress Harrysong, his followers and not being mature.
It may be recalled that Soso, who worked with Five Star music for more than 10 years, said he left Five Star Music because it was time for him to move on, after contributing successfully to the success of the label that is owned by Limpopo singer, Kcee and his younger brother, E-Money.
In a statement, he said:
“Against any unfounded and baseless rumour, I wish to state that I single-handedly took the decision to move on to pursue my dream as an entrepreneur, having spent over ten years of diligently working with the company.”
“As a founding member, through dedication and hard work, I was able to build FIve Star into an entertainment brand that is today recorgnised globally. It is not out of place to chart a new course for myself.”
Harrysong on the other hand, departed the Five Star Music label acrimoniously in November 2016 and was embroiled in a cold war with the record label over the breach of contract.
