England international, Dele Alli has signed a new six-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur which will see him remain at the club till 2024.
The new deal signed by the 22-year-old will nearly double his wages from £50,000-a-week to closer to £90,000-per week.
His new contract is coming in the midst of challenges faced by the club concerning their behind-schedule new stadium. They lost 1-0 to Manchester City last night in the Premier League at their temporary home Wembley.
The club however confirmed on Friday that their new 62,062-seater ground will not be open until next year and issued a foreboding financial statement.
