Chioma Ubogagu has been named to play for England in games against Australia and Sweden. Despite being uncapped for her club Brisbane Roar, manager Phil Neville still included her name in the squad.
The 26-year-old is not the only uncapped player included in the England squad. Three other uncapped players will feature as the Lionesses continue their preparations for the 2019 Women’s World Cup.
Chioma Ubogagu was born in London to Nigerian parents. She moved to Texas when she was only a child following her parents’ divorce.
The news of her inclusion in the squad has sent excitement to English fans who are happy she decided to play for the Lionesses.
