Sergio Ramos has revealed that he had no bad intentions when he tackled Mohamed Salah during last UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
The tackle which led to Salah’s night ending abruptly due to a shoulder injury sustained, drew huge criticism from football fans who felt Sergio Ramos deliberately moved on Salah.
Ramos who will be playing today in a game between Spain and England, might face some criticism from Liverpool fans during the game which will take place in England.
Ramos, addressing a press conference ahead of the match, said, “I’m not really concerned about that,” when asked about the possible reaction towards him from the English crowd.
“I never wanted to hurt a colleague on the pitch of course, so my conscience is really clear about what I did that night. I’m not going to be affected by that at all.
“I know the English fans will treat players as they deserve and I’m not worried about that in the slightest.”
