President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, is alleged to have charged people $70,000 to have a photo with him at a campaign fundraiser at one of his hotels.
According to reports, the president charged $100,000 (£77,000) for guests who could attend a private roundtable with the President of the United States, while for those who only wanted dinner, it was reduced to $35,000.
The event was held at the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC on Wednesday night,
Washington Post White House reporter Josh Dawsey tweeted a photo of the event invitation which highlighted the large costs. The money will go towards Trump Victory, a joint fundraising committee for the president’s 2020 presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC).
