The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have announced the postponement of the party’s governorship primary elections in Lagos to Monday.
The primary election which was earlier scheduled to hold on Sunday has now been shifted for logistic reasons.
The National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole made this known in Abuja on Saturday while inaugurating the 21-member National Convention Committee headed by the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s fate will be determined at the primaries following today’s decision by 36 out of 40 Lagos lawmakers to declare their support for his rival, Jide Sanwoolu.
