Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp is wary of the threat posed by Crystal Palace Christian Benteke.
The Reds will slug it with Crystal Palace for maximum points at Selhurst Park and Klopp has warned his players to handle the threat Benteke.
“Everybody who thinks about writing Benteke off makes a big mistake because his obvious skills are always there,” Klopp said.
“Even if he didn’t score too often last season, he always has opportunities.
“It’s a big challenge to defend set-pieces when Christian is around. He will score goals this season, there’s no doubt about that.”
Jurgen Klopp has also urged the players who are not starters to work hard to stand a chance of breaking into the first team
“What I can do is everyone who trains on his highest level – because the decision has already been made that they are good enough to play for Liverpool – has a big chance to be an important part of the team, to stay in the team and all these things. That makes us happy.
Klopp added: “The ideal size of the squad is 11 and no one injured. Then they are all happy – a little bit exhausted but all happy. If you have 12 then you already have one who thinks: ‘Why am I out?’ That is how it is.
“Everything will be fine, but if someone has a problem with it he will have a problem with me because he does not respect the situation.”
The match will kick off by 8 pm Nigerian Time
