Super Eagles Forward, Kelechi Iheanacho is hoping to continue his rich vein of form when the 2018/2019 gets underway, Iheanacho has scored two goals for the Foxes in tune-up friendlies as they prepare for the season opener against Manchester United.
The former Manchester City striker scored the equalizer for Leicester City in the 1-1 draw against Valencia at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday.
“Of course, I would love to keep it (goalscoring) going, it’s been a good pre-season for us so I’d love to keep the form and keep scoring goals.”
“It was a good test for us and it’s a good game as well,” Iheanacho told the club’s official website.
“Valencia are a good team as we all know and we worked hard in training to prepare for this game.
“It wasn’t a bad outcome so we’re looking forward to the next game.”
Iheanacho is also looking forward to the first game of the season against Manchester United
“I think it’s going to be a good game but we need to keep working hard and make sure we get the goals,” he concluded.
