Barcelona are close to signing Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal after the Chilean international agreed personal terms with the Catalan Club.
Vidal was reportedly close to joining Inter Milan but the deal collapsed, he is now on the verge of joining the La Liga champions who are looking to fortify their midfield after losing Andres Iniesta and Paulinho.
Barcelona have brought in Arthur and Malcolm but they are still in the market for another midfielder and a backup striker.
Vidal joined Bayern Munich from Juventus in 2015 and he has made 79 appearances scoring 14 goals, he has also won three Bundesliga titles and one DFB Pokal Trophy.
Vidal will add steel and stability to the Barcelona midfield and his ability to operate as a box to box midfielder will come in handy as the Catalans aim to bounce back in the new season.
