Emmanuel Amuneke has appointed former flying eagles coach as the new goalkeeper trainer of Tanzania.
Amuneke who signed a two-year deal with the Tanzania football federation on Monday has brought in Amadi to be part of his Technical Crew.
“We’ve been in discussion for a year and it was easy for me to agree to coach Tanzania,” Amuneke told CSN in an exclusive interview.
“Because the President of the Tanzanian Football Federation and the Secretary played the game and they know all that it entails making things work for the team, it was easy for me to accept their offer.
“Amadi joining me will further boost the team and inspire other coaches who have something to prove as well.
“I’ve always taken the toughest route to glory and I am positive that this will work. I have learned well from my past experiences and our job starts this weekend with the U-17s.”
Amuneke has been saddled with the responsibility of qualifying Tanzania for their first Nations Cup in 38 years.
