Nigeria’s former minister of finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has shared a wonderful message to celebrate her father who is celebrating his 90th birthday. Her father, the Obi of Ogwashi-Ukwu kingdom, Dengramite. Prof. Chukwuka Okonjo, is a renowned mathematician and economist.
Sharing photos her her father and also one showing her with both of her parents, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala wrote:
”Happy birthday to one of the oldest old boy of the great Dennis Memorial Grammar School(DMGS) Onitsha as he turns 90 today. A man of many great seasons. A man I respect so much.

Ngzoi Okonjo-Iweala proifle: A Nigerian, an economist and the first female Minister of Finance, was born on the 13th of June 1954.
She served two terms as Finance Minister of Nigeria (2003-2006, 2011-2015) under the leadership of president Olusegun Obasanjo and president Umaru Musa Yaradu’a respectively. She was the Managing Director of the World Bank (2007-2011) and chairs the Board of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) and the African Risk Capacity (ARC).
