Today is CEO of Genevieve Magazine’s, Betty Irabor’s 61st birthday and yes, she still looks 40. On the 23rd of March, her husband was a year older. Now, in the space of just 2 days, the beautiful media boss is also a year older. Congratulations to them.

  1. Betty Irabor is the daughter of a Nigerian police officer and a seamstress.
  2. Betty Irabor fondly known as ‘Aunty Betty’ learned the value of hard work and developed a strong conviction and drive.

  4. She took a major decision in her life to begin publishing her own magazine-Genevieve with only six years’ industry experience.

  6. Betty is widely acknowledged as the woman who started the conversation on Breast Cancer awareness in Nigeria using the Genevieve platform. Through her Genevieve Pink Ball foundation she began a massive advocacy programme on breast cancer.
  7. She was honoured by Association of Professional, Women Bankers as the Most accomplished Female Publisher in Nigeria 2011
