A 36-year-old mother of six from
Uasin Gishu has named her new born triplets after winners of the just concluded
elections held on August 8.

Winnie Chebet Ng’etich gave birth to the triplets,
a boy and two girls, before she could cast her vote for her preffered leaders
in the elections.
Chebet revealead she had planned
with her husband to vote for Governor Jackson Mandago, and Woman Representative
Gladys Boss Shollei and newly elected Turbo MP Janet Rotich. All the three won
their respective seats they were fighting for.

“What came to my mind were the
names of the leaders I had wanted to vote for during the the General Election
and I asked my husband to name the children after them,”
