Father agrees to raping daughter!
A 41-year-old man, Sikiru Odejide, who has been sleeping with his 13-year-old daughter (names withheld) since December 2016, has blamed the devil for his action.
The Ogun State Police Command’s Police Public Relations Officer,
Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed that the arrest of the randy father was as a
result of a complaint from the victim’s mother, who has been separated
from the man.
Oyeyemi said the victim’s mother reported at Sango Police Station that
her daughter came to her house at Ijeshatedo area of Lagos State to
inform her that her father had been having carnal knowledge of her since
December 2016 with a threat to kill her if she dares tells anybody
Oyeyemi said: “She further complained to her mother that she could no
longer bear the frequent sexual assault from her father, hence she
decided to inform her mother.
“The DPO of Sango Police Station, SP Akinsola Ogunwale, detailed
detectives to effect the arrest of the randy father, who lives in
Onihale area of Ifo Local Government Area of the state.
“The suspect, on interrogation owned up to the crime, but attributed it to the devil’s handiwork.
“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered
that the suspect be transferred to anti-human trafficking and child
labour unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence
Department for further investigation and possible prosecution.
“The CP equally directed that the victim be taken to hospital for proper medical attention.”
Dismissed Air Force Officer Among Boko Haram Fighters In Clash With Police
Kano State Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Yusuf, yesterday, disclosed that
one of the Boko Haram suspects, who allegedly engaged the Police in a
gun battle in Kano, was dismissed from the Nigeria Air Force.
Yusuf said the dismissed officer escaped with gunshot wound from the Gaya, Unogo Local Government Area clash.
The Police Commissioner added that five suspects were later nabbed at a hideout, where they were plotting an attack.
Yusuf said the suspects were arrested following an active intelligence
indicating that the remnant of terrorists group, who escaped from
Sambisa Forest were regrouping in some states in the North, including

Republic, 20; Usman A. Buhari, 23, of Borno State, and Iliyasu

I Have Spent Salaries I Received, Herman Hembe, Sacked Rep Begs Supreme Court
Sacked member of the House of Representatives, Herman Hembe has told the
Supreme Court that he has spent all the salaries he collected as a
member of the lower legislative chamber.
Hembe said this in reaction to the court’s order, which compelled him to refund the salaries.

President Buhari should return in two weeks- Rochas Okorocha
Hembe was sacked as the lawmaker representing Vandeikya/Konshisha federal constituency of Benue State on June 23.
Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha, says President Buhari should be
back to the country within the next two weeks. Okorocha who was part of
some APC governors and chieftains who paid President Buhari a visit at
the Abuja house in London yesterday, spoke with BBC World in the UK
today where he gave an update on the President’s state of health as well
as when he is scheduled to return home. Okorocha in the interview said
President Buhari was in high spirits and fully engaged in discussions
about the Nation.
President Buhari who is currently in the UK for the treatment of an undisclosed ailment left Nigeria on May 7th.
Nigerian Navy Arrests Seven Suspected Fake Officers
According to the Navy, Seven fake Naval officers under the name
Merchant Navy have been arrested by the Nigerian Navy Shipyard
Pathfinder after allegedly defrauded unsuspecting citizens.
