Amara Kanu is a dogged fighter.
She got married at 18 years, had her children, attended school,
earned her first degree in Architecture and just bagged a MBA from
Regents University, London.

How did she get to this level as a young wife then?
She said, “I try to keep my sanity, so that I can protect my family.
I had to make a personal decision to stay private for a very long time
in order to build what I have built for myself and my children. I
understood this from a very young age. I ignored critics and paid no
attention to what people said. I overlooked Facebook and I only signed
on to the platform in July 2011. That was shortly after I earned a
degree in Architecture.”
When asked if there is anything that she would want done differently she answered:
“I don’t think I would want to do it differently. I think getting
married early is my competitive advantage.I learnt real life and
management skills in marriage. Even though I’m currently studying for an
MBA, it can’t beat the real life experiences. I won’t change anything
because it all worked for me.|
Just some hours ago, she shared her graduation photos on Instagram and wrote:
“just did it! Be brave. Be adventurous. Be Happy. ?” (sic)
Her ex footballer husband, while congratulating her wrote:
“Congratulations my love well done and many more on the way. You worked
hard and what you gave in that’s the result. We are proud of you and
your a good example to everyone keep it going.”
Congratulations to the mother of three.
