Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, has finally reacted to the ultimatum
issued by some Arewa youths that Igbos vacate the north before October
1st.
While speaking on Saturday at the wedding of a
daughter the former chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC),
Chief Bisi Akande in Ibadan, the acting president, who stressed the
importance of unity in diversity, called on all Nigerians to embrace
peace and unity and ignore attempts by ethnic champions to disintegrate
the country.

The acting president said:
“Our nation has been in marriage for a while now. Sometimes there are
quarrels within that marriage. Sometimes there is disagreement. What is
important is that you must remain together. You must remain united.”
