A graduate of Mechanical Engineering of the Ladoke Akintola
University of Technology, LAUTECH, Michael Adegbehin has died
mysteriously after spending his birthday night with his girl friend
simply identified as Blessing.
Blessing
is said to be incommunicado since Adegbehin died last Thursday after
throwing a birthday bash with his friends and decided to pass the night
with his girl friend at his elder brother’s apartment at Agbe Road,
Abule Egba, Lagos.
It
was learnt that on the day of the tragedy, the deceased who graduated
in 2012, celebrated his 27th birthday last Thursday. A source said
Adegbehin, a Disc Jockey, had invited his girlfriend to his apartment as
part of the celebration. .
On her
arrival, Adegbehin was said to have sent SMS to his elder brother,
telling him that he wanted to spend the night with his girlfriend. A
source said Adegbehin’s brother decided to spend the night outside to
allow his sibling have a ‘wonderful’ time with his girl friend,
Blessing. .
It was gathered that
Blessing left the apartment in the morning without showing any sign that
something was wrong. Residents did not suspect any danger because
Blessing had been coming to the house frequently. .
A
source said some minutes later, the elder brother arrived and met the
door widely opened and found the body of his sibling lying lifeless in
the room. .
He was confirmed dead at
the hospital while his remains had been deposited at the Lagos State
University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja. It was gathered that
Blessing, who allegedly went into hiding after the disaster, had since
presented herself to the Police for onward prosecution.
