A Washington DC based Nigerian photographer, Wale Ariztos recently shut
down downtown New Orleans for his wife’s 30th birthday ceremony in
typical ‘owambe style’.
Lola Ariztos, who is a events and
wedding planner, had a most memorable birthday party as her doting
husband, on New Orleans streets started the birthday train with a
marching band who accompanied the couple to the restaurant where the
birthday dinner held. According to Wale, “the second line band accompanied Lola from the hotel to the restaurant New Orleans style. She was so surprised!!”
