Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says he will miss his late wife, Stella, for the rest of his life.
Stella Obasanjo died on October 23, 2005, from complications of asthma after a cosmetic surgery, at a hospital in Spain.
Obasanjo
harped on how much Stella meant to him on Saturday, while speaking at
the her 10th memorial service at the Chapel of Christ the Glorious King,
inside the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta,
Obasanjo.
The former President said of the former first lady: “I won’t say much
about her today because I have already written much about my late wife
in the book, ‘My Watch’ and part of it says, she will be dearly missed
by me, my family and the Abebe family.”
Yussuf Obaje, the officiating pastor at the memorial, described Stella as an epitome of womanhood.
