Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswin Orubebe is the drama king….Jega is the boss!!!
The display by PDP, Dr Godsday Orubebe a few minutes ago on LIVE TV is an absolute show of shame.
He tried to stop the announcement but
INEC boss, Jega told him to return to his seat.
Godswill Orubebe is accusing the INEC chairman, Attahiru Jega, saying he is partisan and has been compromised.
According to him, Professor Jega has been selective, partial and is tribalistic.
Shouting on top of his voice, Orubebe, a former Minister of the Niger
Delta Affairs, alleged that INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, had
taken side with the All Progressives Congress.
At the venue of the results presentation on Tuesday, the PDP agent
shouted, “You sent a committee to Rivers to probe what happened there.
We submitted petitions to you about Kano, Jigawa, Katsina but you have
not done anything about our complaints. You cannot continue with these
results; we will not take it.”
As Jega tried to calm him down asking to be given a chance to
respond, Orubebe shouted, “Mr. Jega, You cannot continue, go to your
office.”
Jega, however, promptly responded to the former Minister of Niger
Delta Affairs allegations and we bring you his response in 5 quotes.
– After the collation exercise yesterday, PDP’s Bello
Fadile sent me a text message about a petition and I replied him that
all he should send the petition to my office.
– Don’t disrupt an exercise that has ended peacefully.
– You are statesman in your own right, you should be careful about the allegations you make.
– I have started collation, I cannot collect petitions when we are announcing results.
– You are a former minister of the Federal Republic, you should be mindful of your public conduct.
