There
is no more lovely, friendly and charming relationship, communion or company
than a good marriage.
|
Once upon a time, there were two law students in the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye, Ogun state – they were course mates but not friends – except for a couple of ‘HIs, ‘HELLOs’ pleasantries…nothing more….all through the years spent in the varsity, they didn’t get pass the ‘Hi, Hello’ stage….but today they are married.

Aramide and her lovely parents |
Our love story as narrated by the bride:
“After we graduated from school, we met years later at a high court and then he was like ‘Oh wow, I know this face’ and I was like, ‘yea, me too’…and ta-da, we clicked off, exchanged contacts and voila, we became friends.”
|
First of all, Introduction! |
She gushed further “He would call me and we’d talk for minutes on phone. I began to like him…feelings crept in…at a point, I began to hope he would ask me out…and when he did, my joy knew no bounds but of course I didn’t let it show, I played hard to get and told him I would think about it, pray and all. ”
Two months later, precisely in October 2012, they started dating!
|
Two souls with but a single thought, Two hearts that beat as one. |
|
My true love hath my heart, and I have his |
|
I asked God for true love and he gave me the best of all |
|
A part of you has grown in me. And so you
see, it’s you and me together forever and never apart, maybe in
distance, but never in heart. |
And then four months later, on the 14th of February 2013 *Vals day*, he popped the “Will you marry me” question, and she said yes……
“Kayode is an amazing guy, there’s never a dull moment with him. He is very nice and super caring, he cares so much that sometimes I wonder how lucky I am to have him all to myself.
He makes me happy and knows how to spoil me. You see, right from the onset, we knew we were gonna get to married, cos the first time he called me, he asked me if I was married and I told him No, he further asked if I was in a serious relationship and I gave the ‘No’ answer, so it was kinda glaring on that ground that he wanted a serious relationship”
|
Within you I lose myself Without you I find myself Wanting to be lost again. |
|
We’r founded on faith, joined in love, kept by God |
The groom, Kayomide had this to say:
“Aramide is my missing rib, her personality endeared her to me…She is not fake but real…even friends can testify to that..I love being around her, she makes me complete and she is the one person that makes it all perfect for me. I prayed about her and after I received enough conviction, I proposed marriage to her.She is my muse, she tears down my walls and smacks me awake…:)”
Now we leave you to enjoy first photos from their wedding which held last weekend.
