It’s another beautiful Monday…make some noise guys, lol….pardon us for being so excited, we just love Mondays!
Meet our couple of the week Adebowale Fregene and Lydia Orubima – such a lovely couple!
Debo and Lydia got married last Saturday at
st. Pauls Anglican Church, ibiliya/Dikibo, Okrika Jetty road, okrika,
Rivers State and had their reception at Vee Hotels, plot 2
chief woriwu avenue, ordinance Transamadi industrial Layout, Port
Harcourt, Rivers State.
They were the happiest couple on the earth as their parents, families and friends watched them exchange their vows, have thier first official kiss, cut their cake, have their nuptial dance and lots more that Saturday.
You see, their love story is not the usual love story you get to read, it’s unique…*winks*.
Ladies, there might be a lesson or two that you can learn from here…
“Many of the girls then were forming tush, acting like they don’t eat eba…lol…so there was a particular hall – the OBS studio- we needed to use one afternoon and on getting to the hall, we all discovered that the place was very untidy, dusty and unkempt.
There were cobwebs everywhere…many of the ladies began sneezing, they couldn’t stand it yet the place needed to cleaned up.” Debo narrated.
While the guys began contemplating on making arrangement to get a cleaner for the hall, they found that a female corps member had picked up the only available broom and had begun dusting and cleaning the hall.
“I was stunned and I knew right there that she was a wife material! I was impressed but I didn’t say a word to her though.”

Debo noticed how hard working she was, she was simple and different from the other female corps members. She loved God and yes she had a super wonderful voice.
“Her voice is amazing! When she sings…oh God….things happen to me!” Debo excitedly disclosed.
Debo plays the instrument too – the guitar, so sometimes they get together to sing.
They became friends and towards the ending of the NYSC, Debo actually fell in love with Lydia.
He would jokingly tell her “And I’ll love to marry you oh” and they would both laugh over it and switch to other discussions.
Lydia was in a relationship then with some other guy but that didn’t stop her from being close to Debo.
After months of jokingly making the ‘And I’ll love to marry you statement”, Lydia one day sat him down and asked him if he’s really serious about the statement and on realizing how serious he was, she broke up the other guy and chose Debo.
After their NYSC, Lydia returned to her parents’ home in Port Harcourt and as fate would have it, Debo soon moved to Port Hacourt where he found a great job!
