Graduate who lost his Job as an Analyst but now makes shoes for a living shares inspiring story

Okpe Gideon Edo, a graduate of Computer Science from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State in a post he shared on his Facebook page today, has opened up on how his world almost came crashing down after he lost his job as a System Analyst, two years after he was first employed.

However, thanks to his mom, who ensured he learnt a skill during the holidays while growing up, Gideon was able to stand on his feet by taking to shoe making; a business he is fully engaged in at the moment and is proud to show off.

015 I got my appointment letter to work in MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE UMUDIKE as a SYSTEM ANALYST, June 2017 800+ staff of the university lost their job, I was affected, I immediately started my shoe production business…..
