Dismissed Teachers Destroy Kaduna House Of Assembly Complex (Photos)
The dismissed teachers of Kaduna state, allegedly destroyed properties worth millions of naira at the Kaduna state House of Assembly.

The Kaduna State Union of Teachers who were on a protest today, attacked the Kaduna State House of Assembly complex where government properties were destroyed and lawmakers harassed.
Governor El-rufai’s led administration wonders if these are the same set of people that want education of children to be entrusted in their hands.
According to reports, glass windows of the complex were shattered, officials of the house of assembly were attacked. Weeks ago, Governor Nasir El-Rufai sacked over 21,000 teachers across the state after they failed a primary four pupil exam.

  1. he teachers should have had a peaceful protest ,destroying things is way too far... Local government teachers is kaduna state is why the Governor is seated today, he gave them so many promises and seeked for their votes, the teachers are the most neglected part of the change wind in kaduna state, as for this incompetency test that most of them failed, I understand what the state government is trying to do, I think they are trying to flush out the bad and uneducated teachers, raise education standard in kaduna state, but the way and manner the governor is going about it is not right... These are teachers that the state government have never organise seminars, advanced classes or sensitization programmes for, once you have a certificate, whether secondary diploma and you speak their language, directives from the top comes that you employ them, the state government owe them salaries for so many months and yet complain of their inability to go to work despite the so low salaries that they pay them , the ones that have left work are yet to collect their gratuity , even to collect or pursue your file, you will have to bribe your way in... No bribe no pursue of files... their salaries don't come at the end of every month except on the 10th or 15th of the following month... How sure that these ones that have failed the test will be paid off...the local government teachers in kaduna state are the most neglected yet they put in so much..is it the feeding programme that the governor organised and will keep the food @ a far location for the school to go collect with her money for transport and all that.. Please for all those that are gonna tag me or insult me, bring it on, I am a kaduna state local government teacher's daughter, grew up seeing my mum teach, my mum heads her school yet can't boast of an 80k salary @level 14. And yes my mum made the test, she didn't fail it but that doesn't stop the fact that the government also have a responsible role to play.

    1. Would you want these ones to teach your unborn kids?

  2. Not good enough.
Why are they acting like animals, destroying things...
    Na wa oh.

  3. And they call themselves teacher,is violence the only option to air their grievances

  4. Two wrongs don't make a right!
