Zambian winger, Augustine Mulenga, lost his twin daughter, on
Saturday, October 8th, while he was playing against the Super Eagels of
Nigeria, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
Augustine scored a goal, but it was disallowed by the referee.
Officials knew the winger lost a daughter but could not tell him because
he offered hope in helping his country qualify for the 2018 World Cup
in Russia.
Mulenga was only told about the sad news after the match. The player is pictured below, being comforted on arrival from Nigeria.
The little girl was laid to rest today, at New Leopards Hill Cemetery ad he was totally inconsolable.
