To mark our 57th independence day celebration on Monday, President Buhari and his some troops in Maiduguri  cut a National cake that has since got Nigerians talking.

The president had for the first time put off the yearly independence anniversary ceremonies in Abuja and headed for Maiduguri to join the troops fighting the Boko Haram insurgency to commemorate the Independence Day celebrations.

A statement by the president’s spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu said Buhari reiterated an earlier warning in his independence anniversary broadcast that he would not watch the country break up and dismissed separatists as dreamers who were not born when the country went through a debilitating civil war in which two million lives were lost.

    1. We have a bunch of confused and clueless leaders. You don't expect a presentable and beautiful cake when the country itself is in shambles with a clueless and incompetent illiterate as the president.

  4. some people just lack sense, what's there in a cake, what difference does it makes or how does it solve any of our problem ... This same people will still criticise if the cake is huge and well decorated... You don't have to come up jst bcoz u want to say something... We need to re think. Is just hating seeing a lapses in a cake.
