The Police in Lagos state have rescued a young man who was allegedly
kept in chains for more than a year in Mushin, a suburb in the area.
The
85-year-old grandmother of the young man told the police that he was
chained because he is mentally ill. The police, led by the commander for
Area D, however, frowned at the condition under which he had been kept
in chains.
