Photos of the pretty lady who died after container fell on her in Lagos

Pictured above 😭is the lady identified as Monica Onokah who was involved in a fatal accident which happened yesterday at Mile 2 bus stop by Festac town in Lagos.
A container truck fell on the said lady and crushed her legs in the process as she was about boarding a bike on the road. According to reports, the bike man managed to escape but the lady tripped while trying to run, and the container fell on her legs.

People came to her rescue and when they couldn't figure out how to take the very heavy container off her, they decided to cut off her legs with a cutlass. The lady died as she was being rushed to the hospital.

  4. So sad. There must b a legislation tht container truck should b moving in d night time. At least in Lagos state, when the Okada riders became a bizarre, they were outlawed on major roads. This piece of news is unimaginable. Painful but avoidable death!

  6. I don't kW what is wrong with this container drivers, when u tell them not to move in d day time, they will threaten to go on strike. imagine, just wasted d life of such a pretty young girl. D government should enact a law for them to move only in d night, if they want to go on strike let them go, d road is bad still u they will carry container with hooping it on d truck. God I pray for her soul to rest in peace.

  7. I have read that she did not die. Yes, her legs were amputated, but she did survive. Bless her. What a terrible thing to happen to a person..especially to a young woman. May she have far better luck in the future.xx

  8. There's no way you canask them to move in the night ,because people returning from their various work place and time do walk in the night it won't be pleasant of such accident is to happen in the night, how will one know if there's casualty
I the the best option is to create container road separately with a strong barricade that can hold it in case of it falling.
