He joined the #WorldTeachersDay trend on social media to remember his Pa Kasimu Zangon-Daura.
He tweeted, “On this #WorldTeachersDay I remember Kasimu Adamu Zangon-Daura, my Junior Primary School Teacher. Who is the first Teacher you remember?”
Meanwhile, the Senator representing Enugu North senatorial district, Utazi Chukwuka, has called on the government at all levels to make the welfare of Teachers priority.
Senator Utazi said the situation whereby government pay all civil servants down to local government staff before paying Primary or Secondary Schools Teachers was very miserable and discouraging.
